Driveway Pour with Cement-Free Concrete

Dec 2023, a new section of driveway in the Kenmore area of Seattle was poured using C-Crete’s cement-free concrete. Despite persistent rain, the pour was completed smoothly, and the mix demonstrated excellent early setting behavior. The product meets and exceeds key industry benchmarks such as ASTM C1157 for mechanical performance and ASTM C666 for freeze-thaw durability, providing a real-world validation of the concrete’s strength and durability.

This driveway is subjected to frequent traffic from heavy trucks. As with all C-Crete formulations, this mix contains no Portland cement, eliminating the carbon emissions typically associated with concrete production.
