C-Crete Interviewed by MIT News on the Future of Cement-Free Concrete
October 2023, C-Crete’s founder and president, Dr. Rouzbeh Savary, was interviewed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), to share his journey toward developing a low/no-carbon alternative to traditional cement.
The article, titled “Cleaning up a common substance: Cement”, explores Dr. Savary’s path from MIT to founding C-Crete and developing a Portland cement-free concrete that significantly reduces carbon emissions. In the interview, he reflects on how MIT instilled the mindset that “(almost) anything is possible when passion, determination, and grit collide.”
